Amazing and Rare Hinged Lid 800 Coin Silver Mustard Pot
Truly outstanding Coin Silver / 800 Silver mustard pot with hinged lid and lion feet.
Classic Design! Simple and elegant, with attention to detail!
Beautifully crafted, with attention to the finest details:  Finger loop handle, rope border on the bowl, classic hinge design, “key hole” opening in the lid for the mustard spoon, tall elegant finial, and minutely detailed lions heads and lion paw feet!
Markings
: No maker marks, Stamped “800”.
Condition
: Amazing for its age. No splits or breaks.  Silver in great condition, with some areas of tarnish.  Scratches to the silver.  Normal wear.  Some areas where the mustard pitted the silver.  Some areas where the contents hardened on to the silver.  The lid does not sit perfectly flat on the base due to use.
