    Up for bid is a vintage modernist sterling-top glass jam pot by Reed & Barton. The piece is 4 ¾ inches tall by 2 ¾ inches in diameter and the lid weighs 37 grams.
    The lid has a central scroll finial and a cutout for a spoon.
    It has not been monogrammed.
    The glass base has a pattern of cut horizontal ovals in staggered vertical columns as shown.
    The lid is marked “REED & BARTON / STERLING / X389”.


    Condition on the jar is good.
    There is no damage, just normal signs of use.
    A nice piece of modern design.
