Vintage Mustard Pot Cobalt Glass Liner Footed Lowe And Sons Sterling Silver 1940Vintage sterling silver mustard pot having lion mask and paw style feet, decorated with gadrooned rim and acanthus leaf shaped thumbpiece. It has cobalt blue glass liner. Made by Lowe & Sons, Chester 1940.
This gorgeous pot is 2 13/16" in diameter, 2 1/4" tall and weighs 193.6 grams or 6.2 Ozs. Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

A sterling silver mustard pot with cobalt glass liner in Victorian style. This handsome piece features a round body on four beautifully detailed feet with an attached floral topped lid. The top edge has a fine boarder with floral motifs, while the arched handle is detailed with acanthus leaves. The container retains a fitted cobalt glass liner and comes with a sterling spoon. The pot weighs 6.7 ounces excluding the glass liner. The base is marked E E over B over J W for Edward, Edward Jnr, John and Barnard, London 1841
